Holistic Yoga Students Radiate Joy
After each class I see radiant joyful smiles on my students. I always feel very blessed that they have chosen me to be their yoga teacher. In gratitude for their presence and radiant joy I dedicate Holistic Yoga classes to Smile Train. Ten percent of the proceeds go to Smile Train. One hundred percent of the proceeds from Yoga for Smiles events go to Smile Train.
The mission of Smile Train is focused on solving a single problem: cleft lip and palate.
Cleft palate is a devastating affliction when not repaired. Clefts are a major problem in developing countries where there are millions of children who are suffering with unrepaired clefts. Most cannot eat or speak properly, aren’t allowed to attend school or hold a job; and face very difficult lives filled with shame and isolation, pain and heartache.
But with a simple surgery a life can be changed dramatically. Ten percent of the proceeds from Holistic Yoga classes go to Smile Train.
If you wish, you can make additional donations in class or click here and bring more smiles into the world. I try to post around the last Thursday of the month. Anything received after that is posted for the following month’s contribution. This makes it easier to get an up-to-date newsletter completed before the beginning of the month.
Or Google Holistic Yoga Smile Train.
Fundraising Update: As of April 30, 2023, we are up to $14,640!
That is 58 new smiles and getting closer to another 🙂 ❤
