Holistic Yoga Students Radiate Joy
After each class I see radiant joyful smiles on my students. I always feel very blessed that they have chosen me to be their yoga teacher. In gratitude for their presence and radiant joy I dedicate Holistic Yoga classes to Smile Train. A portion of the proceeds goes to Smile Train. See below for details.
The mission of Smile Train is focused on solving a single problem: cleft lip and palate.
Cleft palate is a devastating affliction when not repaired. Clefts are a major problem in developing countries where there are millions of children who are suffering with unrepaired clefts. Most cannot eat or speak properly, arenβt allowed to attend school or hold a job; and face very difficult lives filled with shame and isolation, pain and heartache.
But with a simple surgery a life can be changed dramatically. Each month, the first $250.oo received from the 7 Lakes classes will go to the Smile Train Fund. That way we will reach our goal of 108 smiles faster!
If you wish, you can make additional donations in class or click here and bring more smiles into the world. I try to post around the last Thursday of the month. Anything received after that is posted for the following month’s contribution. This makes it easier to get an up-to-date newsletter completed before the beginning of the month.

Fundraising Update: As of November 2025, our Smile Train fund is up to $17,770.oo. That is 71 new smiles!! Thanks for helping to make that possible. π
During the months of October & November 2024, we raised $685.oo for UMCOR Hurricane Helene disaster relief. In December 2024, $320.oo was donated to Samaritan’s Purse for hurricane relief in honor of all of my wonderful students.
